The story is a timeless one, a titanic struggle between two great Canadian hockey rivals, the Snake River Skurr and the Hooffersville Hoots.

Played every year on Christmas Eve, the game is a tradition that goes back, well, "As long as anyone can remember."

As long as anyone can remember, Snake River had come out on top of that game. But that long night:, Christmas Eve 1929; the clock literally stood still, the KGHL set an all-time record of eleven overtimes, and Jay Carpenter magically appeared on the earth. But who won?
