film and print services

film
the job of taking your well-developed design to the film separation
stage is not to be taken lightly. there are numerous pitfalls
awaiting the consumer who assumes that their design is ready
to go as is... you
may bave a 'really cool design' but there are a lot of things
that need to be considered while you are making the design,
and after the design is finished.
example:
•
have you saved and ganged your work properly?
• is your design done in CMYK?
• can the film house work with what you have supplied?
• what format does the film house take? - can you
provide that?
• what kind of film does the print shop need: negative,
emulsion down, right reading? (does this make any
sense to you?)
• are your images flattened and saved at 300ppi?
•
have you included the screen and printer resources
for the fonts that you have used? are they true type
fonts? (do you know?)

...
these are but a few of the many questions that arise when
a design is going to film.
the pre-flight
whether you are preparing for silk screening with pantone
selections, 4 colour offset printing, or foil stamping: we
have the knowledge required to ensure sure that your film
is what it should be. we offer a 'pre-flight' of your artwork,
and check to make sure that this stage of the production doesn't
sink your project.
